Thanks for your welcome and comment! I've had some exciting things happen in the last couple of weeks and haven't had time to explore but I will shortly. :)
I'm really pleased you enjoyed the site Jerrine, we are a small group of artists who have met up each year in the real world too, lol, painters, sculpters, photographers, card makers, quilters and embroiderers so a varied bunch.
Hi Jerrine! Thanks for the welcome and for stopping by my blogsite. :) I've been blogging now for about a year. My hubby and I followed the kids (really the granddaughter) to Barranquilla, Colombia and blogging has been my way of keeping in touch with my family and new and old artist friends. It has also been a great way for me to remember things I wouldn't have...if I don't write them down. :) I can show everyone pictures of this way cool country that I live in and get an 'attaboy' from showing pix of artwork. I'm off now to visit your website.
Jerrine, how nice of you to comment on my work, thank you. There's a lot to learn at this site! I'm watching the photos of your work and they are very lovely, such a wide variety of subject matter. You are very versatile.
I don't yet give online courses. I'm applying to art shows to sell my "scarf art" around the Phoenix area. After the summer, there will be a lot of outdoor fairs.
Thanks for your comments about the feltmaking on my page. It was created at a recent workshop in the South of France lead by Lizzie Houghton (author of Felt in Fashion) and Sue Johnson.
I just finished writing my children's book "Henry the Prickly Porcupine" (it's for sale on Amazon.com, or at Coles in Canada.) Now I can't wait to get out the beads and crayons and fabrics and....lol... you know what I mean ;0)
Your site looks so inspiring. What a special treat to find you and your community.
Thank you for the wonderful compliment Jerrine, your gallery is fabulous too. I love Tamarack and my absolute favorites are your butterflies and moths. Beautiful asian themed pieces as well. Excellent detail. Happy Holidays!
