magazine article

Have just recieved my copy of Art Quilting Studio with my article about Beetles and Pitcher Plants. I had thought that it was going in Art Doll Quaterly but this is even better. The magazine is printed by Stampington and the photography is superb.

beetles workshop in Sedona

I shall be giving a workshop on my fabric Beetles on Tuesday 13th October at Art Glitter Institute Cottonwood Arizon. Ezekiel's Dream

One of my new quilts in progress is Ezekiel's Dream. The eagle's head is finished except the beak. I am finished thread painting the lion. Still in need to thread paint the man and ox. I am making individual feathers for each of the four wings, two will rise behind the heads and two to cover the body. The feathers are a bit tedious to make.…

New Textile Art Group (TAG) study organized FREE all are welcome

I organized a study group (TAG Team) last Sept. We studied Art Quilt Workbook by Jane Davila and Jan Waterston.

It was very successful. There was enough interest to continue. In addition I decided to add a second study. So, we now have TWO groups which are "teams".

Celtic Themes

Well, I will try again, that is to write the blog I wrote last night, before aol cut me off and I lost the lot.Grrr.

I have added photos of some work I have been doing the last week or so. These are of some Celtic brooches.
