Lady Liberty a winner!

This is my wearable art piece, "Lady Liberty Camouflaged", which is shown in this picture, at the 2007 Wearable Art Awards, in Port Moody, Canada. It won for Best Conceptual piece that year. It was invited back this winter (along with 2 of my other pieces) for a retrospective exhibit that was held in and around the Port Moody/Vancouver area, in conjunction with the winter Olympics.…

No Excuses

Yes here I am posting to my blog page while that little nasty voice in my head says well you are not really very good at this are you. I joined the Fiber Arts/Mixed Media group as another way to add both artistic and poetic structure in my life and to be part of a larger group of artists and writers.
