I'm up to my final project for the textiles subject. I am taking my inspiration from a dry creek bed. So far I have made up a sketchbook page with possible colours and a technique sample (using white only). Well I finished the studio study sketch - I have some pretty funky hands going on there, but overall I am pleased with the piece. Practice has to start somewhere. The sketch is a bit of a montage of things in my space.

I am thinking of using a close up photo, and since my sewing machine is my favourite tool I took this photo:

I will work on some sketches and see what it looks like.
