- About me and my connection to fiber art & mixed media
- Greetings from Clasheen in the South East of Ireland! I am a full time felter inspired to create by the beauty of the rural landscape surrounding me. My biggest loves are working in three dimensional shapes and nuno felting, a feature of my work is the subtly of colour and the strength of the felt. I also make a range of scarves, jewellery, bags and other wearables for sale and to commission as well larger pieces such as rugs and wallhangings.
Teaching and introducing new people to the joys of felting is very important to me. I regularly run workshops from my studio at Clasheen and participate in community events and other teaching opportunities all around Ireland as well as far away as Urban Fauna Studio in San Fransisco last fall! I will be making a return trip to the States this October starting in Michigian and working my way to the west coast. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in discussing the possibility of a wet felting workshop in your area.

Stephanie " Rosie" Fischer said… - Hi Nicola....Keep me posted on Eugene and if not there, maybe we could work out something here??? Eugene is about 111 miles from the beach where I am at.
