About me and my connection to fiber art & mixed media
I have been a crafter for most of my life and in recent years I have devoted much of my creative time to making dolls and mixed media art which allows me to combine most of the techniques I have learned over the years
Hello Mary, Thanks for your invitation to friendship... my first friend! I thoroughly enjoyed looking at the pictures of your dolls - they're just wonderful, especially the mermaids! I also like the African dolls. If you ever need any scraps of African fabric, please let me know... I have a lot since I work almost exclusively with African fabrics in my quilts, and would be happy to share with you. Wishing you the very best for 2011!
Hi Mary, thank you so much for your friend request. I love your dolls [and their clothes]. As Judith has said, do look into a blog. I've not long started one, and if I can do it with my archaic connection, anyone can [http://billabongs2bling.blogspot.com/] Must look more now at your work. These places are so huge, takes forever to get to 'know' everyone. Cheers.
Thanks Mary, the pincushion is 6 1/2" (17cm) across, 27 1/2"(19cm) tall. I've since put her onn a stand and made a needle keeper, and pin cushion sitting on the base. Your dolls are gorgeous!!! You must look into a BLOG!!! It really isn't that hard, as the Blogger has steps that you just follow. I am qualified to say this as I am a computer "dummy", and I DID it!!!!!
