- Daniela was born in the Czech Republic and moved to Belleview in 2001. She received her Master degree in history of art at Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Repulic. She is a textile artist, co-founder and president of the non profit organization Spirit of the International Art. Daniela's art work is found in private collections in the Czech Republic, Australia, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the United States. She has exhibited her artwork throughout Europe, at the Appleton Museum of Art in Ocala, Webber Center, Brick City Center, Ocala Chamber of Commerce, Belleview Chamber of Commerce and Gallery East.
"As far as I remember I wanted to be an artist. The textile design had a special fascination for me. That is why I spent many years in the school for the textile art design where I learned the technique of bobbin lace. I had fallen in love with it and I have continued this venue since. It is very exciting for me to combine the shapes, colors and matrix of textile to create visual abstract patterns. Almost all of my work is inspired by nature, but represented primarily in abstract form. My organic forms exude primordial essence. I like my technique to be a matrix of cells coming together to form a being the form of life. I strive for my composition to be a balanced harmony of positive and negative space, of texture and color."
