This is another technique from the book, Artist Trading Card Workbook, by Bernie Berlin.

Some Backgrounds for ATCs

I've been creating some quick and easy backgrounds for ATCs using techniques found in Bernie Berlin's wonderful book, Artist Trading Card Workshop. These are made from tissue paper.

Hey, fusible web I have. Never tried embossing powder, but now I think a visit to Michaels is in order. Dangerous! Who knows what else I might find to amuse me.

Thank you, and I'm glad to add you as a friend. I checked out your blog and liked what I saw. Not much time now, but will check back on another day. I'm intrigued by what you did with the bonding powder (and you've used one of my favourite colour schemes). I have been wanting to try working with it for a while, but haven't been able to find a local source. I may just need to break down and buy it online. Are you using BoNash, or some other powder? Have a creative weekend - Anne Marie
