Bower birds are AMAZING! The male intentionally arranges a group of objects in a "pleasing way" The female visits bowers and chooses mate on basis of which "art" she likes best. Blue is often a color of choice. This piece in all measures approx. 14" by 22". Background is painted and stamped canvas. Surround is embellished felt and lutradur. Branches are embellished felt and natural branches gathered from my yard after a wind storm.

this one is a great and charming piece. i DID hear of these birds' mating ritual before - but never before saw it captured in human art like this! excellent concept! :-)
