Yes I noticed that it had just changed its name probably to differ from the UK fibre arts group

Has the group changed its name? I'm from the North, but the North East, not West.
I work with all sorts of different media. I'm doing an art quilt at the moment which includes non textile items. And I'm eager to try new things, I plan to try resin or similar soon.

well I have been making some fabric postcards with stamped pegs. I got some metal alphabet stamps/punches from the US and have been branding things..lol

fab blog by the way.
im from birkenhead (we should set up a merseyside group but im not sure how many others there are from the area!)
ive worked with fibre alot but recently ive found a passion for mixed media and collages because i love anything with lots of texture and i think thats why both appeal to me so much. i love combining the two aswell, it can produce some wonderful results. x

I am from Liverpool, where is everyone else from? what do you prefer working with mixed media or fabric. I like working with both depending on my mood.
