Thank you for your welcome. My profile picture is of a parosole I made, I bought a childs umberalla and stripped it right back to the frame work. I then cut plastic, hand stiched the daisies on using holibein stitch (its the smae inside and out) added hand dyed yellow velvet centres, which were beaded then i stiched it on to the frame and added a daisy chain of daisies susing soluable fabric. I will try and load some photos but my camera is broke at the moment.

Hi Chris, well I guess you are really on the other side.LOL, thats makes this group so much more interesting. Please post some of your work. I also teach fiber arts and quilting. It is so rewarding to see the students face when the project is finished. This site is fantastic, and so many talented people. I just wish they would post pictures of what the are doing. Hi Debbie thank you for the welcome. I live in South Wales in the UK. I love hand embroidery, i do a little patchwork but mostly comtemporary work. I enjoy silk fusion, felt making. I teach textiles to adults one evening a week and i often take workshops. I love making books in fact i love everything.
