It is great to be able to join this group to communicate with other people who are passionate about F.M.E. I have a small garden studio containing many boxes of fabrics and other stuff. My machine is a Bernina, I learned to sew on one of these in college. The only drawback is having to turn the hand wheel when taking thread from one bit of fabric to another. I did send for a knee lift but it wouldn't fit my model. I have recently purchased a Janome embellisher which is fun to use.

I'm totally in love in free motion stitch, so I'm so exited to found this group, because I want to learn more about it. But I do love it.

Glad to have found this site.  I'm always looking for some hints and knowledge centered around fabric, sewing and dyeing.  Happy to be a member too.  Here's a small art quilt I made of Bob Dyan, poet.

Much like the rest of you I too have been really busy and keep forgetting to post on this sight but you can keep up with me on Facebook or on my general page here. Haven't had time to do much FM lately too as I have been using my new embellishing machine but do FM on top of the fabric I produce. Will try to take some pics this week and post them.

Hi: New here. New to FM of any kind. Trying to get started on this stuff. I have been reading your comments. I appreciate your knowledge. I have just started with FM, and no so much E. But it looks like something I would like to try!

Hello Jackie,
The trouble I find with FME is that I get obsessed with small pieces of anything. Last time it was scraps of fabric. I don't think you can really be a bit obsessed.....well, I know I can't................
